Yesterday, the Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East LCDA, Hon. John Campos Ogundare, JP., and other council leaders had a meeting with the Commanding Officer and other senior officers of the 65 Battalion of the Nigerian Army at the Council Secretariat in Sangotedo.
The meeting was borne out of the desire to reiterate the Chairman's commitment at ensuring the security of lives and properties of the good people of Eti-Osa East LCDA and its environs.
There were deliberations on strategic solutions that will enhance and curb the security problems in the LCDA and its environs.
It will be recalled that there had been recurrent cases of theft, robbery and cult clash within the council, so these meeting was expedient to meet the need of the people on this concern.
The officers were further taken around the council, Baale of Sangote especially the flashpoints areas.
