....seeks more collaborations for developmental projects in Eti-Osa LCDA
The Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area, Hon. John Campos Ogundare has lauded the housing project of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu while giving his goodwill message at the official commissioning of the Lagos Homs Sangotedo 1 housing units on Tuesday, 14th December 2021.
Hon. Ogundare in his speech lauded Mr Governor and members of his cabinet for their efforts at bridging the gap of the housing deficit in Lagos State.
He appreciated him for his intervention in the different developmental projects in Eti-Osa East LCDA, especially the Ogombo Road project.
He also acknowledged that the Lagos Homs Sangotedo 1 housing units being situated in Eti-Osa East LCDA would no doubt bring socio-economic development to the local council development area and Lagos State in general.
The Chairman further seized the medium to seek the Governor's intervention in the areas of security, environmental and traffic management in the LCDA.
He stated that the Digbolu-Kolu local security outfit in the LCDA would do more if it extends to all major communities within the LCDA. he therefore urged the governor to come to their aid.
"...we need your assistance in extending the local security outfit across the LCDA, especially Ajah, Sangotedo and environs."
He further said that the governor should help facilitate a better working relationship with the waste management authority so as to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all.
"We will like your office to help in facilitating a better working relationship with the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) so as to ensure a clean and healthy environment for our dear inhabitants and by extension, Lagos State."
On traffic congestion, the chairman pleaded with Mr Governor to intervene in the construction of more road networks within the LCDA to as to ease traffic flow.
" We will also appreciate your intervention in the area of decongestion of traffic in Ajah and the linking communities, by creating more road networks...
