The Lagos State Government has approved the construction of Saliu Obodo Road in Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area of the state.
In his opening remark at a stakeholders' meeting organised by Hon. Noheem Adams via Zoom on Saturday, 22nd January 2022, the Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East LCDA, Hon. John Campos Ogundare expressed his gratitude to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for granting their request on the construction of Saliu Obodo Road. He also appreciated the lawmaker representing Eti-Osa Constituency One at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Noheem Adams for his efforts in fast-tracking the inclusion and approval of the road project in the 2022 budget.
Hon. Ogundare who said that the focus of his administration has always been to make life better for the people, also hinted that the construction of Saliu Obodo Road is a win for his administration.
He further noted that one of the greatest challenges of the residents and people of Eti-Osa East LCDA is traffic congestion. He therefore expressed joy and satisfaction that the construction and completion of Saliu Obodo Road will ease the backlogs of traffic congestion being faced by motorists in Badore, Langbasa, Ado - Ajah axes of our dear council.
"The road will further link up many communities within the LCDA and open doors for more economic and social activities for the people, thereby making Eti-Osa East LCDA the true home of hospitality it is known for". The chairman added.
