Hon. John Campos Ogundare was born and bred in Eti-Osa East LCDA part of Lagos State to Mr Ogundare and Mrs Risikat Ogundare née Owoseni Adams on the 16th of April, 1979.
He started his elementary education at Olomu Primary School in Ajah part of Eti-Osa, Lagos State. He then proceeded to Sangotedo Community High School and Ireti Grammar School, Ikoyi respectively for his secondary education.
He later attended the Lagos State University where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management.
Hon. John Campos is young, sociable and sporty. He loves to play lawn tennis and he is a member of the Lagos Lawn Tennis Club and many other socio-cultural groups.
Prior to his full-time political career, Hon. John Campos Ogundare was into real estate and property development and has contributed immensely to the urbanisation and development of Eti-Osa in that regards.
Hon. John Campos Ogundare is an astute and diligent public servant whose steps to political prominence in Eti-Osa and Lagos State in general cannot be undermined.
From his younger age, he has been a veritable vessel in the developmental projects and strategies which have given Eti-Osa the prominence it enjoys today as the fastest growing neighbourhood in Nigeria.
He is a loyal party man cum public servant who has worked in different capacities under different leaders of thoughts in the political sphere of Lagos State. He served as the Supervisor for the Environment and for Budget and Planning respectively in Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area of Lagos State.
Hon. Ogundare was also the Campaign Director of Rep. Ibrahim Babajide Obanikoro Campaign Organisation. His strategic contributions and management in tandem with the political activities and direction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State saw to the victory of the young and vibrant representative of the people of Eti-Osa Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Abuja.
After due diligence and proper consultation with the leaders of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Hon. John Campos Ogundare expressed his interest to contest for the office of the Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area and won the party's ticket.
In July 2021, he was voted and sworn in as the Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area.
Hon. Ogundare is happily married and blessed with wonderful children.
