Eti-Osa East LCDA commissions multiple projects

The Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area of Lagos State under the leadership of Hon. John Campos Ogundare, has commissioned multiple projects in the local council development area.

The projects commissioned included: Addo Community Market, Addo; Eti-Osa East Market, Ajah; Omooba Murphy Adetoro Street (road construction), Ajah; Baale Street, Ajah Primary Health Centre, renaming of street and a borehore renovation facilitated by the councillor representing Ajah ( Ward A).

In what looks like multiple events in one,  dignitaries, political leaders, community stakeholders and market men and women arrived at the different locations where each project was commissioned.

The Addo Community Market and Eti-Osa East Market which were the first point of call were commissioned by the Deputy Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly and All Progressives Congress (APC) Senatorial candidate for Lagos Central, Rt. Hon. Wasiu Esinlokun Sanni.

The market, according to the Chairman of the council, would put smiles on the faces of market men and women, residents and stakeholders alike as it would boost economic activities of the area, thus improving the living standard of the people.

After Ado Market and Eti-Osa East Market commissioning, the dignitaries moved to Baale Street and Omoba Murphy Adetoro Street in Ajah where the roads were newly commissioned for use by the people.

In the same development, an existing but decrepit borehole water at Ojuagbara Area which was renovated by Hon. Dauda Odunlami, Councillor of Ward A (Ajah) was commissioned.

The final lap of the event was the commissioning of Ajah Primary Health Centre.

Just closer to the health centre is a street renamed after Baale of Ajah, Chief Murisiku Ojupon.

The health centre was said to have started during the previous administration and completed under the administration of Hon. John Campos Ogundare.

It was noted that Hon. Ogundare was the supervisor for the environment when the project started, and he took it upon himself to ensure the project came to reality.

The Chairman expressed delight at the commissioning of the projects and the attendant benefits they would bring to the communities and the local council at large.

Dignitaries present at the event included Rt. Hon. Wasiu Esinlokun Sanni; Hon. Ibrahim Obanikoro; Omoba Murphy Adetoro; Alh. Raheem Alli; Hon. Yahaya Dosunmu; Hon.  Owolabi Yisa; HRM Oba Saheed Elegushi ably represented by Otunba Salisu Elegushi; Elejigbo of Langbasa ably represented.
