The Executive Chairman of Eti-Osa East Local Council Development Area of Lagos State under the able chairmanship of Hon. John Campos Ogundare has expressed his appreciation to the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and his Deputy, Dr Obafemi Hamzat for attending the inauguration of a newly constructed senior secondary school in Ogombo and their love for the development of education in Eti-Osa East LCDA and its environs.
The Chairman also appreciated the First Lady of Lagos State, Dr (Mrs) Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and other members of the executive of the Committee of Wives of Lagos State Officials (COWLSO) for facilitating and siting the construction of the new senior secondary school in Ogombo, Eti-Osa East LCDA which was the first of its kind in the community.
Ogundare noted that the project was a laudable one and would go a long way in ameliorating the decay of educational infrastructure we have in Eti-Osa East LCDA.
He further stated that he considered the gestures of the State government and COWLSO to site the laudable project in Eti-Osa East LCDA as an honour, considering that this happened at a time when he is the Executive Chairman of the Council. He said his joy knew no bounds for this.
The Chairman who spoke through the office of his Chief Press Secretary, therefore implored the school management and students to make judicious use of the facility and work in tandem with the Lagos State Government in the areas of educational development so as to make Eti-Osa East LCDA better in all ramifications.
