Actress Rahama Sadau, known for her work in Nollywood and Kannywood, has been appointed by Vice President Kashim Shettima's office to join the Technical Committee of the Investment in Digital and Creative Enterprise program (iDICE). This initiative, housed within the Vice President's office, aims to boost investment in digital and creative ventures.
The committee, inaugurated by Vice President Shettima at the State House in Abuja, is chaired by Tope Kolade Fasua, the Special Adviser to the President on Economic Matters within the Vice President's office. Its primary role is to provide strategic, technical, and operational support to the Programme Corporation Unit (PCU) and the Fund Advisory Board, making it a crucial component of the iDICE program.
This move follows President Bola Tinubu's appointment of Kannywood actor Ali Nuhu as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Film Corporation earlier this year. These appointments signal the government's commitment to revitalizing the entertainment industry and promoting youth engagement in governance.
